Sarah Marian Seltzer is a freelance journalist and book critic in New York City.
Her reporting and commentary has appeared in publications including The LA Times, BITCH magazine, Publishers Weekly, Venus Zine, The Huffington Post, TheNation.com, and The New York Press. Sarah's work has also been published in local media mainstays New York Family Magazine and The West Side Spirit.

Sarah interned at online news source Women's eNews. She currently writes a weekly column on gender and culture for Rhrealitycheck.com.
After graduating with honors from Harvard, she spent a full year teaching public high school in the Bronx. She continues to work with high school students in the city. In her spare time, Sarah is working on her first novel.
